Spurrell, Abraham W. , formerly of Arlington, Dec. 18, 2016. Husband of the late Melinda Pearl (Grandy) Spurrell. Father of James Spurrell and his wife Diana of Marlborough, and Shirley Duggan and her husband James of Lexington. Abe is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and by many nieces and nephews. Owner of Technical Publications in Waltham; 50+ year Member of the Amicable Lodge in Cambridge. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday December 21 at Calvary Methodist Church, 300 Mass. Ave. Arlington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm (with a Masonic Service at 7:30pm).  Donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 402 Mass. Ave. Cambridge, MA 02139. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
