Spellenberg, Adele W. (Allen), longtime Lexington resident, January 11, 2012. Wife of the late Allen Witthus and former wife of the late Arthur Spellenberg. Mother of Douglas Witthus and his wife Beverly of Litchfield, AZ. Sister of the late Freda Backstrom. Adele is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Donna, Allan, and Marcia, by 2 greatgrandchildren, Andrea and Riley, and by many nieces and nephews. Bookkeeper for many years, later part owner of Hampshire Press. A graveside service will be held Monday March 12 at Westview Cemetery, 520 Bedford St. in Lexington at 11am.
