Father of William Alan Porter and his wife Josselyn of Littleton, John Bruen Porter and his wife Sarah of Belmont, and Elizabeth Ann Henneberry and her husband Michael of Foxborough. Brother of Cathleen Rawcliffe of England, Robert Porter of Ireland, Thomas Porter of Ireland, Kenneth Porter of Woburn, May Wilson of Northern Ireland, and the late Marjorie McCrea. Alan is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Allison and Colin, and by many nieces and nephews. Member of the Simon W. Robinson Masonic Lodge in Lexington; Member of the Scottish Rite; Member of Aleppo Shrine; Painting Contractor in the Lexington area for over 40 years. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 26 at Hancock United Church of Christ, 1912 Mass. Ave., Lexington at 3pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
