CAVARETTA, Alfred S. 97, of Lexington, died peacefully with his family by his side, on January 7, 2012, after a brief illness. For sixty-two years he was the devoted husband of the late Eva C. (Tropeano) Cavaretta who was the love of his life. Mr. Cavaretta is survived by four children, Alfred Cavaretta, Jr. of Kent, Ohio, Karen Napoli and her husband Richard of Acton, Phillip Cavaretta and his wife Lori of Ogunquit, ME, and John Cavaretta and his partner Randal Coulton of Wells, ME. His daughter Frances Olivas predeceased him. He is also survived by two sisters, Katherine Hession and Rose Altieri, and a sister-in- law, Edith Petterson and a brother-in-law, Phillip Tropeano. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON, Wednesday, January 11 at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Brigid Church, Lexington, at 10AM.
