Ann M. Furdon, 93, of Lexington Massachusetts passed away on October 25, 2024.

Ann was born to Francis P. Connor and Mary Catherine Rose of Lexington MA, where she lived joyously with her siblings, the late Joseph, Francis, William, John, and Gerald Connor, and the late Marry Merrill, Barbara Murphy and Maureen Burke.  In 1952 Ann married the love of her life, Paul E. Furdon and they lived in Lexington adopting and raising 2 daughters, Maribeth Lazich (Dan) and Kathleen Webb.  Ann was a devoted grandmother to Christopher and James Lazich of Hollis NH and Jessie and Dalton Webb of Mashpee MA as well as a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Ann's life centered around her family; she was a great cook and could be counted on to have warm cookies coming out of the oven just as school got out of session.  She was incredibly proud of her husband Paul's service to the town of Lexington and of his 42 years on the Lexington Police Force, where he retired as Chief.  She is best known for taking advantage of her husband's color-blindness to ensure that they wore matching outfits as they walked through Lexington Center and beyond, achieving many miles on a daily basis.  She was funny and kind and fiercely loyal; she will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 30th at the Douglass Funeral Home (51 Worthen Rd, Lexington MA) at 9am, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church (2001 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington MA) at 10am. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, October 29th at Douglass Funeral Home from 4pm to 7pm.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited.  Donations in her memory may be made to Project Bread (https://projectbread.org/individual-donations ).  Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
