Ann T. Hartford, 90

Beloved wife of the late Walter W, Hartford, Jr. passed on October 12, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving children.

Ann was born on October 28, 1926 in Newton, Mass. And was the daughter of the late Nicholas Murphy and Agnes (Campbell).

Beloved mother of Cynthia A. Scholz of Wayland, David L. Hartford and his wife Pamela of Atkinson, NH, Kevin G, Hartford of Lexington, and Maureen E. Wentzell and her husband William of Holderness, NH; sister of the late James R. "Bob" Murphy of Pawtucket RI, Joseph G. "Jerry" Murphy of Vass NC, Elizabeth M."Betty" Forsythe of Denver CO, and Barbara E. MacEachern of Woburn. Ann is also survived by five grandchildren, Jeremy Scholz, Randy Dallaire, Ryan Dallaire, Holly Wentzell, and Carly Wentzell and by many nieces and nephews.

Ann graduated from Our Lady's in Newton. She was a "candy striper" volunteer out of high school, which led to her love for the medical field. She was the loving mother of four children. She worked briefly as a secretary for Lexington High School. During the 1970's and 1980's Ann found her passion for the medical field and became an integral part of a private surgeons practice and other doctors as the office manager and assistant at the Lexington Medical Center in Lexington.

Ann above all loved her family, her faith, neighbors, her large circle of friends and celebrating holidays. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Road, Lexington, Tuesday, October 17, at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
