Anna Faye Walters Phillips
June 1, 1946 – June 22, 2025

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Anna Faye Walters Phillips, who departed this life peacefully on June 22, 2025 at the age of 79.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Born on June 1st, 1946, Anna Faye was known for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering strength. She shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, George Douglas Phillips, and together they built a life grounded in love, laughter, and enduring partnership.

Anna Faye was a proud and loving mother to her daughter, Dyanna Lea Phillips Domilici who was the light of her life.  She was the extremely proud grandmother to her grandson, Nunzio Maximino Domilici for whom her heart beat with a joy reserved only for him. She was a best friend and mentor to her baby sister, Diane Walters Hardin with whom she shared many life adventures. Her love for her family was limitless, and she offered her home freely to all who needed comfort or care.

Anna Faye will be remembered for her kind spirit, her quiet resilience, and her deep faith. Whether enjoying music, tending to her garden, reading a good book, or lending a listening ear, she touched the lives of many with her gentle grace and sincere compassion.

She is survived by her husband George, daughter Dyanna, grandson Max, son-in-law Nunzio, sister Diane, many beloved nieces and nephews, and a host of dear friends who will cherish her memory forever.

A celebration of Anna Faye's life will be held at a later date in Lumberton, NC.

Her love was a gift to all who knew her, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
