Iandoli, Anthony P. "Bucky", of Lexington died at home surrounded by family on June 1, 2018.  Beloved husband of the late Evelyn B. (Ingeme). Loving father of Kenneth A. Iandoli and his wife Sandra L.  of Burlington, Marlene E. Langley and her husband John of Burlington, and Bryan P. Iandoli and his wife Paula M. of Fitchburg. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Erik, Chad, Christopher, Matthew and his wife Jessica , and Rebecca, and by a first cousin, Alfred Ferullo.

Anthony was born in Parolise, Italy on Jan. 6, 1921 and came to America aboard the SS President Wilson. He arrived at Ellis Island, New York on November 26, 1926.  He lived in the West End and North End of Boston from 1926 to 1950.  He graduated from Boston English High School where he was an excellent student and was a prize winning Cadet Captain. He married Evelyn B. Ingeme on Mother's Day, May 11 ^th , 1947 and lived in Belmont from 1950 to 1959, and then moved to Lexington in 1960.  He carried on the candy business which his father, Giuseppe , started in 1927 under the name of the Premier Chocolate Co.  He took on Tony Chardo as a partner and they worked together for the next 32 years. Anthony served proudly in the US Army from 1942 to 1946 in the European Theatre of Operations during WWII.   He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant and served in the 815 ^th Ordinance Base Depot Company in Cheltham, England and then briefly as an interpreter with an intelligence unit stationed in Sicily and the Italian mainland. His memberships and distinctions included; Honorable discharge from the US Army; He received the European/African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon, The Victory Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. President of the Holy Name Society at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the North End, Knight's of Columbus ,Life member of the American Legion, Honorable member of the Lexington Historical Society…" I truly lived the American Dream…How Sweet it Was".

Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington, Wednesday June 6 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Ave. Somerville, MA 02143. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
