McLean, Arthur Warren Jr. of Burlington, MA passed away peacefully on November 25th, 2022. Son of the late Arthur W McLean and Margaret (Doherty) Lynch. Brother of Patrice M. Doherty, Doreen M. Whalen and her husband James and the late William G McLean. Father of Michael McLean and his wife Colleen McLean, Suzanne Sawyer, Kelly McLean O'Flynn, Jonathan O'Flynn and their mother Donna F McLean. Proud Grandfather of Bryce Sawyer, Emma, Reece and Will McLean, Fiona and Macklin O'Flynn. He is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Arthur was born in Chelsea, at the Chelsea Naval Hospital, raised in Winchester, MA. Longtime resident of Medford and Lexington. Graduate of Winchester High School Class of 1963. After graduating the Somerville Police Academy, he became a police officer for the Town of Arlington and rose through the ranks retiring as a Lieutenant. Arthur was also a long-time employee of the Woburn Country Club where he made great friendships and shared his passion of golf. Member of the Winchester Lodge of Elks.
After retiring, Arthur enjoyed golfing and spending many years with Patti Pasquale in West Palm Beach, FL before moving back to Massachusetts. He loved sports and especially enjoyed the past five years cheering on his grandchildren in all their sports and activities. He will be missed.

Calling Hours will be held Thursday December 1 ^st at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington from 4pm to 7pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Arthur to help support and protect Massachusetts Police Dogs.
