Schramm, Arthur J., M.D., 93 of Lexington died Aug. 1, 2017. Husband of the late Dorothy (Conant) Schramm. Father of Nancy Fitzpatrick and her husband Michael of Fairfield, CT and Gayle Gault and her husband David of Seekonk, MA. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Lindsey Crape, Ross Fitzpatrick and Elliot Gault and two great grandchildren, Charlie and Bryce Crape.

US Naval Officer in the Pacific Theatre WWII; a Tufts Medical School Graduate 1951, post graduate OB/GYN training at Passavant Hospital, Chicago, IL and Boston Lying-in Hospital; on staff at Boston Lying-in Hospital and Mt. Auburn Hospital, Cambridge; practiced OB/GYN in Lexington, MA for 34 years and retired in 1989. A memorial service will be celebrated Wednesday August 9 at Hancock United Church of Christ, 1912 Mass. Ave. Lexington at 11:30am. Luncheon reception to follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Mt. Auburn Hospital, C/O the Development Office, 330 Mt. Auburn St. Cambridge, MA 02138. Private interment. Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
