Solow, Barbara (Lewis) of Lexington, Feb. 17, 2014. Wife of Robert M. Solow. Mother of John Lewis Solow and his wife Catherine of Iowa City, Andrew Robert Solow and his wife Margaret of Woods Hole, and Katherine Solow and her husband Daniel Duling of Los Angeles. Sister of the late Janet Elovitz. Barbara is also survived by 8 grandchildren. Professor of Economic History at Boston University and a research associate at the DuBois Institute at Harvard University. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
