Father of Carol Ayre of PEI, Canada, Janice Hartley of Nashua, NH, the late Bruce Obear, and his significant other Alice Casavant of Peabody. Brother of Murray Obear of RI. Ben is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 greatgrandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. WWII U.S. Army Veteran, Corporal; After war served as an Airman in the U.S. Navy Reserves; member of the Simon W. Robinson Masonic Lodge, Lexington. Registered Professional Engineer. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday February 25 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday afternoon from 1pm to 4pm, and on Saturday from 10 am to 11 am prior to service.
