Berardo "Sonny" Anthony Parisse of Lexington passed away peacefully at home on April 23, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Clara (Leone) Parisse.

Sonny was a devoted father to Patricia McCafferty and her husband Peter of Burlington, Berardo "Bernie" Parisse and his wife Paula of Bedford, and James Parisse and his wife Johanna of Billerica. He was a cherished brother of the late Nancy Grasso and Gina Miele.

He was the loving grandfather of the late Christopher Parisse and is also survived by his seven grandchildren, Andrew, Megan, Michael, Suzan, Mark, Natalie, and James, along with many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Sonny was a proud veteran who served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was also a hardworking and dedicated business owner who ran his own machine shop for over 30 years. For 25 years, he enjoyed spending time at his home in Brewster, Massachusetts, where many cherished memories were made. He also loved wintering in Sarasota, Florida with his wife Clara, and looked forward to trips to Disney World, especially the time spent with his family. He will be remembered for his steady presence, and the love he shared so generously with all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., Lexington, on Monday, April 27 at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington, at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
