Curtin, Bonnie (Hitchcock) It is with great sadness that we grieve the sudden loss of the amazing Bonnie Curtin, 62, on September 11, 2021 at her home in Centerville. Bonnie spent the last few days of her life being loved and taken care of by her partner, Jeffrey Wilkinson. Bonnie was a giver to the fullest extent and selflessly provided warmth and compassion to everyone she met. A loving Mother to four and incredible Grandmother to two, nothing was more important to Bonnie than her family. She found great joy in caring for others as a home health aide for those at the end of their life and was happy to do the same for her mother who passed away in 2012. It was second nature for her to love those around her and she always made sure to work hard to do so. As a young woman, Bonnie enjoyed spontaneous trips with friends, painting, and playing the piano. A friend to many, Bonnie created fond memories of time spent with her girlfriends relaxing on the beaches of Cape Cod, Florida, and Old Orchard Maine. The ocean was her happy place. A lively spirit, she was never one to refuse a dance with a good friend. She lives on in the spirit of those who survived her: sons Christopher Curtin of Centerville, Nicholas Curtin and wife Stephanie of Londonderry, NH, Jeffrey Wilkinson of Centerville, and daughter Kendelle Wilkinson of Prescott, AZ. She is also survived by her partner Jeffrey Wilkinson of Centerville and sister Gracey Hitchcock of Atlanta, GA. Her two sweet grandchildren, Aerilyn and Gabriel are blessed with entire lives to make her proud. Today Bonnie may leave us but she is reunited in the afterlife with her mother Antoinette Hitchcock, who died peacefully of old age and father Clyde Hitchcock, who died suddenly from a brain aneurysm when Bonnie was just 20 years old. A Memorial Service will be held Monday September 27th, at Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd, Lexington at 11am. Visitation immediately prior to the service from 9:30am to 11am. Donations may be made to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation in memory of Bonnie and her Father who she loved so much and wished to spend more time with.
