Bruce E. Neale, 77 of Lexington, MA — Family Man, Master Plumber, and Hot Rod
Hero — passed away at home on July 10, 2025.
Born in 1947 in Newton, MA, Bruce Neale built a life rooted in craftsmanship, character,
and chrome.
Bruce was a husband, father, and the kind of friend and neighbor who'd lend you a tool,
fix your pipes, and offer a story while doing it. His home on Ward Street was as much a
family hub as it was a garage kingdom—where he tuned engines, taught life lessons,
and polished his beloved custom 1986 Camaro until it gleamed like new.
Mr. Neale had an inimitable laugh and was the owner of Minuteman Mechanical, a
plumbing company established in 1997, that he ran not just with skill, but with soul.
Bruce was a trusted tradesman, running copper or solving problems for his customers,
many were decades long clients because of his character, expertise and moral
compass.
He was a proud hunter who respected the outdoors, a loyal friend who showed up
without being asked, and a man who believed in doing things right the first time—
whether it was soldering a pipe or raising his kids, or hanging out with his
grandchildren.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Linda, and their three children: Lisa, Ben, and Mandi,
daughter-in-law, Carolyn Kosnoff and Son-in-law Greg Diliberto. He leaves behind grandchildren, Aiden (16) and
Alaina (14) who knew him as "Grandpa," and hundreds of friends and customers who
knew him as a great guy and a hot rod in his garage that still rumbles with his spirit.
He is predeceased by his parents Sally Turner Neale and Theodor Neale, and brother
Ted Neale.

Family and friends are encouraged to share stories, wear work boots or racing
jackets, and bring their rides if they've got them. In lieu of flowers, the family
asks that donations be made to Lexington Veterans Association (details below) or
simply take a long backroad drive and think of Bruce.
