Carol Ann (DeVito) Buckley, a woman whose life was a testament to love, family, and enduring friendship, passed away suddenly on June 24, 2025. Formerly of Belmont, Carol resided in Lexington for the last twenty years, where she remained the heart and soul of her family. She was the devoted wife of the late William M. Buckley and leaves behind a legacy of profound warmth and genuine care.

She is survived by her adoring children, Michael W. Buckley and his wife Jennifer of Bedford, and Susan M. Kingsbury and her husband Scott of Lexington. Her grandchildren, Hailey, Liam, Ella, Nolan, and Brayden, were her greatest pride and joy, and they will forever remember their most amazing Nana and her boundless affection. Carol also leaves her dear sisters, Lucille Currier of Burlington, Frances Lettieri of Belmont, Nicoletta DeVito of Nashua, and Joanne DeVito of Eastham, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Her lifelong friendship, spanning over seven decades, with Marie Piacitelli of Belmont, was a cherished relationship. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Armando and Frances DeVito, and her brother, Frederick DeVito.

Carol's greatest happiness stemmed from her family. She was an extraordinarily dedicated and loving caregiver, always ensuring her home resonated with warmth and happiness. Carol never let anything come before the people she loved. Her relationships—with family and friends—were always her true priority, and she nurtured them with deep intention and unwavering devotion. Her love of music and dancing added joy to her life and helped create countless lasting memories with her loved ones.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, June 30, at St. Brigid Church, 1984 Mass. Ave., Lexington, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held immediately before the Mass at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., Lexington, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Lexington.
