Beckwith, Carolyn N. (Newbery) of Bedford, MA died peacefully on January 22, 2017 with her husband Robert E. Beckwith and her daughter Pamela W. Beckwith of Nashua, NH by her side. She is survived by her brother  Thomas W. Newbery of South Ogden, Utah. Carolyn and her husband Bob proudly shared a strong bond of marriage for over 52 years. Carolyn was a loyal employee at Cary Memorial Library for 30 years; with most of her career working as the Executive Administrator. She was a dedicated member of Pilgrim Congregational Church for over 50 years. She loved traveling, was a lifelong animal lover and had a passion for crafting; especially knitting. She will always be remembered for her positive "never give up" attitude.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday March 11 at Pilgrim Congregational Church in Lexington at 2pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Pilgrim Congregational Church, 55 Coolidge Ave. Lexington, MA 02420. Private interment at Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
