Gleason, Caryl E. (Cadario) of Seabrook, NH, formerly of Lexington, MA April 20, 2023.

It is with profound sadness  after a long full life that, Caryl E. Gleason passed away peacefully at age 91 surrounded by her five children. Caryl was predeceased by her husband Daniel F. Gleason, father John A. Cadario and mother Marion T. Cadario, sisters Natalie (Cadario) Trenholme, Muriel (Cadario) Leblanc and her brother John "Jack" Cadario. Caryl is survived by her son John Gleason and wife Patricia, daughter Danielle Berthiaume and husband David, son Ward Gleason and wife Chrissy, son Blake Gleason and wife Maria, daughter Cara Berardi and husband Jay, 13 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren with number 15 on the way. Also survived by her sister in law Biggy Cadario, a nephew and several nieces. Anyone who knew Caryl knew that her love for her family was the most important thing in life. She always provided support and love for her family and was so proud of her children and their families. Caryl grew up in Arlington MA and spent her summers at North Hampton Beach. While attending Arlington High School class of 1948, Caryl had many close friends which stayed together for many years, they were referred to as the "Club". Her best summer memories growing up where, going to the beach with her lifelong friend, Alice May Amsden, catching her 516lb Bluefin tuna with her brother Jack, and being crowned Miss Hampton Beach in 1949. In the fall of 1949, Caryl attended Westbrook Jr. College in Maine. After College, Caryl attended floral design school in Boston. After her husband's passing Caryl resided in Florida and that's where she developed her love for Golf. Over the next 30 years she played in multiple women's leagues tournaments and was fortunate enough to achieve 3 hole in ones. Every day, you could find Caryl on the golf course enjoying life with her longtime companion William "Bill" Stephens. Her love and values will live on through her children for years to come.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday April 27 at St. Brigid Church, 1981 Mass. Ave. Lexington at 10am. Visiting hours at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Private interment at Westview Cemetery in Lexington.
