Sacco, Catherine Mary "Katie" (Bohld) passed peacefully at her home in Lexington, MA on Sunday May 22nd, 2022 at 10:38am, age 79. Born and raised in South Boston, Katie attended St. Brigid Elementary School in South Boston and Notre Dame Academy in Boston. She is a graduate of the State College (currently the University of Mass.) in Boston.

She taught Elementary School for 3 years in the Boston School System and for many years at the Rosary Academy in Watertown. In Lexington, Katie was a Pre-School Teacher and was active in Saint Brigid's Parish, mostly as a Teacher and Lector.

Katie was avidly interested in Drama and performed with the Regal Players of Waltham. She also loved traveling.

Beloved wife of Francis Sacco. Mother of Daniel Sacco and his wife Amy, who reside in Waltham with their son Aidan and daughter Hannah, and mother of Christine Bloomer and her husband Michael, who reside in Windham, NH with their son Liam. She is also survived by her brother, Edward Bohld of South Boston, and by many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday May 25th at Saint Brigid Church, 2001 Mass. Ave. Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Private interment at Westview Cemetery in Lexington. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Boston Children's Hospital.
