Christopher Hans Venier died peacefully January 31, 2022 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.  Born in Newton, MA. He grew up in the Framingham area, and lived most of his life in Lexington, MA.  Chris attended Fordham University eventually graduating Mass College of Pharmacy in 1962.  A pharmacist and former owner of Theatre Pharmacy Chris leaves behind beloved wife Kathy.  He also leaves behind daughter Annie Venier of New York City and granddaughter India Venier. As well as daughter Amanda Zinke, son-in-law Sandy Zinke, and grandchildren Katie, Alex, Will and Beau Zinke.  Chris had a special gift in caring for his customers. He made deep connections with everyone he met. In the pharmacy, he could often be found sharing a joke or a laugh, or warmly attending to a customer.  He loved cyling, skiing, and tennis and was a voracious reader.   He had a favorite spot in the garden where he relaxed with his books and a black coffee.   Having travelled substantially he wanted to lead a simple life and felt truly at age 81 that he had lived a happy fulfilling long life and had not been cheated.

Visiting hours will be held at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Thursday from 4pm to 7pm

The funeral will be private only. The family is planning a Celebration of Life in the Spring or Summer.
