Bedford - Constance (Morse) (Masterman) Schneider, 86, of Bedford, formerly of Lexington
and Waltham, died on January 25, 2013. She was born in Arlington, the daughter of the late Priscilla (Barnes) and Harold Morse. She was the widow of the late Robert C. Masterman and the late Benjamin Schneider.
A talented knitter, seamstress, and artist, Connie leaves behind a legacy of handmade gifts stretching back multiple generations.
She is survived by her son, Hugh Masterman and his wife, Jeanne, of Westford; her daughter Martha Fancy and her husband, Mark, of Havelock, NC; and her sister, Barbara Crotty, of Dublin, OH. Connie was the grandmother of Lisa Michaud of Westford, and Thomas Masterman of Minneapolis. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Noah and Renee Michaud.
A memorial service will be held at Carleton-Willard Village, 100 Old Billerica Rd., Bedford, on Saturday, February 9, at 2 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of the North Shore and Greater Boston, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923. Private burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
