Zwicker, Daisy M. passed away at the age of 90 years October 16, 2014 in Frankenmuth, MI, formerly of Arlington, MA. Daisy Lanier was born on Dec. 7, 1923 in Conway, N. Carolina. She married Lorne Zwicker of Arlington, MA on Sept. 23, 1947. He preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 2003. Daisy was a practicing Christian throughout her life. She enjoyed the pleasures of her backyard and time spent by the ocean. Daisy loved puzzles, word searches and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Daisy is survived by daughters: Lornagail (Stephen) Myers of Frankenmuth, MI, Susan (Gary) Thurston of Gloucester, MA, Marsha Zwicker of Colorado Springs, CO; 6 grandchildren: Janell Myers, Katryne Myers, Rebecca Zwicker, Kevin (Stephanie) Thurston, Jason Thurston, and Amanda (Jason) Gillis, and by 6 great- grandchildren. Daisy was preceded in death by 10 siblings. A funeral service will be held Saturday Oct. 25 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation also Saturday, prior to service, from 9:30am to 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Humane Society, National WWII Museum, or the American Cancer Society. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington, MA.
