Daniel A. DiPietro of Waltham, MA, formerly of Lexington, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021, at the age of 83 at the Maristhill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waltham, MA.

Dan was the beloved husband of Leola Keeley DiPietro of 55 years. He was the loving father of Daniel L. DiPietro and wife Colleen of Pleasantville, NY, Lisa DiPietro Cassell of Falmouth, MA and Steven DiPietro and wife Karla of Encino, CA.  Dan was also the loving grandfather of Drew, Katie, Grayson and Capri DiPietro.

He was predeceased by his parents, Vito and Antonietta DiPietro, and brother, Salvatore DiPietro and survived by his brother, Gino DiPietro.

Dan graduated from Watertown high school, class of 1956, Boston University School of Business,1960, and Harvard Business School, 1962.  Dan was a veteran of the US Army and retired in 1964 as a Captain.  Following his military duties, Dan worked in the financial industry for 34 years and retired in 1996.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Brigid's Church in Lexington, MA on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 11:00 am.

Calling hours will be at Douglas Funeral home in Lexington on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.
