Needham, David J. of Lexington, April 23, 2021. Beloved husband of Patricia J. (Hennessey) Needham for over 46 years. Loving father of Jeff Needham and his wife Kelly of Burlington, and Kerry Needham of Boston. Doting grandfather to Avery and Alison Needham of Burlington. He is survived by his brother Robert Needham and wife Karol, of North Andover, his brother-in-law James Hennessey and wife Sharon, of Myrtle Beach, SC, and many nieces and nephews.

Dave was born and raised in Winchester, MA and graduated from Winchester High School in 1964. He went on to complete his Bachelor's Degree at Belknap College. He started his career with the New England Telephone Company before enjoying a decades long career as a Sales/Operations Manager for Genesis HR Solutions.

Aside from his family, Dave's other true love was Great East Lake in NH. He enjoyed all that lake life has to offer and was an avid fisherman, boater, kayaker, grill master, and general connoisseur of lake activities. He also enjoyed his weekly tennis matches and his nightly bowl of ice cream. Residing in Lexington for close to 50 years, he loved raising his family there and was always a part of the local community. He was involved in coaching Lexington youth sports and volunteered with the annual Battlegreen Run for many years. Affectionately known as the "Mayor of the Manor," he frequently walked his beloved black labs around the neighborhood stopping to chat along the way. He was the first to offer a helping hand and was a genuine friend to all.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute .
