Walsh, David W., 91, of Medford, formerly of Somerville and Lexington, passed away on August 26, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (Wilson) Walsh. Father of Janet Walsh of Portsmouth, NH, Michael Walsh and his wife Stephanie of Medford, MA and the late David W. Walsh, Jr. Dave is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Conor Walsh, Lieutenant JG Stephen Walsh, Ensign Matthew Walsh and Megan Walsh. One of ten children, Dave is survived by brother, Paul Walsh (Bunny) of Medford, MA, sisters, Ann McCusker (Bob), and Claire Hanlon (Al) and many nieces and nephews. David was a WWII Navy Veteran and attended Boston College Law School at nights while working as a clerk at the federal district court house in Boston. He was a corporate attorney for multiple railroad companies including, New Haven Railroad, Penn Central Railroad and Conrail for many years before establishing his own private practice in Boston and Somerville MA. He was a past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus in Lexington, a devout Catholic and member of the Equestrian order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre. David enjoyed many enjoyable summers at Lake Wentworth in Wolfboro, NH and going on cruises with his wife and extended family.

Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Friday August 31 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at Sacred Heart Parish in Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington. Donations in Dave's memory may be made to Dementia Society of America.
