Deborah L.
Scott
d. Jan 7, 2022
Scott, Deborah "Debby" L. (Andrews), age 71 of Lexington passed on unexpectedly on January 7, 2022. A longtime resident of Lexington and Winchester, Debby was born in 1950 in Stoneham, the oldest daughter of John and Lillian (Swain) Andrews of Bedford. She grew up in Bedford and graduated from Bedford High School. She attended Barrington College in Barrington, Rhode Island where she pursued her passion for early childhood education.
She is survived by her mother Lillian, her loving husband, Harry B. Scott, of Lexington, her son Dana Scott and his wife Laura of Boylston, her son Matthew Scott and his wife Jennifer of Templeton, her adoring grandsons, Aristotle and Archimedes, her sister Beverly (Andrews) Valliere of Jefferson, Georgia, her sister Joy (Andrews) Coonradt and her husband Brian of Chelmsford, and several nieces, nephews, and great grandnephews. In her passing she has joined her son Timothy in the Lord's arms, along with her father John L. Andrews and her brother John L. Andrews II.
Debby was a kind-hearted person who lived in the faith of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She enjoyed art, sketching, and reading Joel Osteen and other Christian devotions. She cared for those in need and loved spending time with her family. She was a vivacious woman whose bubbly spirit filled a room.
Debby worked for Pepsi, provided childcare and served as a Bible study teacher, and worked for a law firm. She loved to sing and was a member of Lexington's Grace Chapel Choir.
Debby was a social butterfly. When she embraced, you could feel the pure love radiating from her. She truly cared about others and would always take the time to listen to their stories.
