Gibbs, Donald of Waltham, Sept. 25, 2016. Husband of the late Shirley Gibbs (McElhiney). Father of Donald J. Gibbs and his wife April of Billerica, and David E. Gibbs and his wife Kim of Saugus. Brother of Myrtle McKeown of Lexington, and the late Nancy Perkins and Warren Gibbs. Don is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Christopher, Emily, Kaylee, Maxwell, and Lily, and by many nieces and nephews. WWII U.S. Army Veteran; Longtime Construction Engineer at Polaroid. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday Sept. 28 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington from 4pm to 8pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
