Harter, Donald Wells of Lexington, on August 23, 2015. Beloved husband of Dodd Anne "Dabby" (Bagnall) Harter. Don was the loving father of the late William "Billy" Harter. He is survived by his daughters Nancy V. Harter-Whitaker and her husband Jack of Shirley, Lori Ann Colby and her husband Herb of Bolton, Courtney D. Harter and her husband John Daly of Lancaster, and Kimberly H. Morton and her husband Michael of Harvard. He is also survived by 9 loving grandchildren. Dear brother of Gretchen Sayer of Parish NY. Donald, formally of Parish, NY and a graduate of Syracuse University, entered the army and served during the Korean War. He was a systems analyst at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA before his retirement. Don was an avid sports enthusiast, loved his Celtics and had a keen sense of humor. Funeral services will be held at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., Lexington on Saturday August 29th at 10 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Friday from 4 - 7 pm.
