Longtime Arlington resident Dorothy M. Battista, born in Boston to Alfred and Mary Gifun on February 8, 1932, died at 90 on February 9, 2022. Dorothy was predeceased by her ex-husband Frank A. Battista, her brother Richard Gifun, and her brother-in-law Robert Dall. She leaves her sons Frank V. Battista, Richard Battista, and Vincent Battista, her grandchildren Valerie Battista-Feig, Marlene Battista, Amanda Stuart, Dougie Stuart, her sisters Eleanor Dall and MaryAnn Gifun, her brother Frederick Gifun and her sisters-in-law Betty Rawson, Claire Gifun, Evelyn Gifun, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
