BRYAN, Dorothy E. (Pickering) Of Lexington, passed away peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by her family and her good friend Susan Blomquist, Oct. 5, 2015. Wife of the late Norman F. Bryan. Mother of Clark Bryan and his wife Donna of Lexington, Jeffrey Bryan and his wife Sandra of Berlin, Robert Bryan and his wife Janet of Lexington, and Scott Bryan and his wife Beth of Windham, NH. Sister of Barbara "Polly" Hunewill of Melrose, and the late John Pickering Jr. and the late Norman Pickering and his surviving wife Mary of Arlington. Dorothy is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Todd, Lauren, Nicholas, Stefanie, Jennifer, Laurie, Jonathan, Christopher, John, and Elisabeth, by 12 great grandchildren, and by many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Saturday Oct. 10 at the Church of Our Redeemer, 6 Meriam St., Lexington at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd, LEXINGTON from 4pm to 8pm. Donations in her memory may be made to the Shriner's Burns Institute, 51 Blossom St, Boston, MA 02114.
