LYONS, E. Lois (Decker) 50+ year resident of Lexington, MA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 19th, 2011, surrounded by her family. Lois was born April 14th, 1921, in Washington D.C. Her husband Hugh T. Lyons of 62 years passed 3 days prior. Lois was a secretary at Lexington High School for 20 years. She was active in the Lexington Book Club and a dedicated volunteer at Buckman Tavern. Lois also participated in 3 Bridge Clubs and enjoyed the Audobon Society. Her passions were her family spending time at her cottages in Maine and New Hampshire. She is survived by her son Stephen T. Lyons and his wife Janet of Wilmington, daughter Susan Charczuk and her husband Glenn of Omaha, NE, daughter Stacey A. Murray and her fiance David White of Manchester, NH, and son Stuart S. Lyons and wife Ha of Bel Air, MD and nine grandchildren, Christopher, Phillip, Douglas, Gregory, Katherine, Deborah, Vy, Jessica, and Kevin. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 22 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. LEXINGTON at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
