Burke, Edward Joseph JR, of Lexington, January 28, 2021. Beloved husband of Margaret Helen (Buckley) Burke with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.  Loving father of Jennifer Muccioli and her husband Alfred of Nashua, NH, and Michael Burke and his wife Kimberly of Marlborough. Devoted brother of the late Daniel Burke and Patricia Burke.  Uncle of Laura, Danielle, and the late Jessica.

Following High School, Ed joined the U.S. Marine Corps. He continued his education at Bentley College graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.  He had a lifelong hobby of drag racing and building cars and was an avid Boston sports fan.  Ed was the  life of the party.  He will be remembered for his gift of making people smile and laugh.

Due to the pandemic, a private funeral mass will be held followed by interment at Westview Cemetery in Lexington. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org
