Hall, Edward Joseph of Lexington, October 26, 2017. Husband of Viola J. (Marino) Hall. Father of Gail Lamere and her husband Vernon of Bolton, Edward Hall of Alexandria, VA, William Hall and his wife Joanne of Cheshire, CT, Mary Cancelliere and her husband Joseph of Billerica, and Jeannine Casey and her husband Jon of Burlington. Brother of William Hall of Quechee, VT, and the late Frederick Hall and Margaret Coogan. Ed is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Philip, Allison, Edward, Renee, Rachel, Sarah, Christopher, Morgan, Ryan, Natalie, and Jillian, by 1 great grandchild, Amalia, and by many nieces and nephews. Ed was a mechanical engineering systems division lead at the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Cambridge, MA for over 34 years.  During his career, he was integrally involved in the design and development of critical guidance systems for the aerospace industry—most notably the Apollo space program and the Polaris Navy missile defense system. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington, Tuesday Oct. 31 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 4pm to 8pm.
