Edward Mcgovern Jr's Obituary
McGovern, Edward M., Jr. of Lexington, July 31, 2018. Beloved son of the late Edward M. McGovern and Mary L. (Gormley). Brother of Martha Reagan of Medford, and the late Mary Ann Chafin and Virginia Dorr. Ed is also survived by many nieces and nephews. U.S. Army Veteran; Graduate of Boston College and the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday Aug. 6 at St. Brigid church, 2001 Mass. Ave. Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation also on Monday, prior to the service, from 9am to 9:45am at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Boston Catholic Television, 34 Chestnut St. Watertown, MA 02472. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
