Mann, Edward Kenneth of Lexington passed away on October 10, 2022 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor F. Mann (Ryan). Loving father of Michael Mann and his wife Maria of North Reading, Kristen Reed and her husband Lance of Lexington, and the late Steven Mann. Devoted brother of Barbara and Paul Humora, Walter and Debbie Mann, Doug and Peggy Mann, and Virginia and Steve Salzberg. Edward is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Cooper and Brodie Mann and Abigail and Brendan Reed; and many nieces and nephews.

Edward graduated from Boston Latin School and received his bachelor's and master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University. He served in the army in Vietnam. Edward loved the water. As a child, he spent summers at Lake Damariscotta in Maine and Nantasket Beach. Later, he enjoyed swimming and sailing with his family on Cape Cod, and after becoming a grandfather, he cherished his time at his beach house in Ipswich, MA. He also loved going for walks, playing golf, studying history, and reading newspapers and magazines.

A funeral service will be held Friday, October 21 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington at 11am. Visitation, prior to the service, from 10 to 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment to follow at Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
