Winter of Dorchester, Richard J. Winter and his wife Lori of Plainfiled, VT, and the late Edward J. Winter Jr. Grandfather of Edward III, Rebecca, Caitlin, Maia, Priscilla, Juliette, Dennise, Christopher, Heidi, and the late Alyssa. Ed is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews. World War II U.S. Army Veteran; Served as Secretary of Boston School Committee. A funeral service will be held Monday April 7 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington at 12pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation Monday prior to service from 10:30am to 12pm. Donations in his memory may be made to Youville Place, 10 Pelham Rd. Lexington, MA 02421. Interment Private.
