BANKS, Edwin R. Age 63, of Lexington, MA, passed away peacefully on January 3rd, 2019, from medical complications. Ed was self- employed in his own excavation company. Ed liked boating, and was an accomplished helmsman. He enjoyed Boston Sports and NASCAR racing. Ed was born in Arlington on September 16, 1955. He was predeceased by his father Edwin Reid Banks, mother Susanna Ann (Keating) Banks and sister Rita Ann (Banks) Whitman. He is survived by his nephew Tom Whitman and niece Debbie Whitman, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, and close friends Dan Peterson and Dominic Modoono.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday May 22 at Westview Cemetery, 520 Bedford St., Lexington at 1:00 pm.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
