McAlduff, Eileen G. (Wood) Passed away at home on November 26, 2018.  Beloved wife of the late William H. McAlduff and predeceased by her parents Mildred and John Wood and her sisters Mary Leturmy and Marion Ringersen. Also predeceased by her daughter Michelle and son John. Eileen is survived by her loving sons and daughters: Sherrie Dunbar and her husband Tom of Tyngsboro; Sandra McAlduff and her husband Kevin McLaughlin of Mansfield, CT; Debra DeFrancesco and her husband Chuck of Lincoln; Dianne Tocci of Lexington and her significant other Rick Comeau; Bill and his wife Beth of Lexington; Brian of Lexington; Hal from Alexandria, VA. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren Tommy, Colleen, Timmy, Liam, Seanna, Meghan, CJ, Casey, Kevin, Courtney, Kayla, Charlie, Colin, Danny and Cathleen and her nine great grand children Tommy, Emma, Reece, Will, Patrick, McKenzie, Andrew, Benjamin and Ryan, all of whom she loved dearly.

Eileen, a life long resident of Lexington loved her hometown and was an amazing mother and grandmother. She was actively involved in the Sacred Heart Parish community and was a parish member for over 65 years. She will be remembered fondly by her many friends who touched her life and whose lives she touched throughout the years, especially her Sacred Heart and neighborhood friends.

She was a regular attendee at many Lexington based activities be they patriotic or other social and church programs.  She was so thrilled to be a guest of honor at the recent installation ceremonies for the newly installed Captain of the Lexington Minutmen Company.

Eileen was a 1947 graduate of Lexington High School and a graduate of Boston University. She worked for many years at Symmes Hospital.

Eileen was a strong advocate and supporter of her family which was truly the center of her life. She took great happiness and joy being the family matriarch and watching and experiencing her family grow over the years. Family celebrations and gatherings were always a highlight for her as she truly enjoyed the sharing of love and laughter that took place.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at  Sacred Heart Church 16 Follen Road,  Lexington on Saturday December 1 ^st at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend.  Visiting Hours at Douglass Funeral Home 51 Worthen Road,  Lexington on Friday November 30 ^th from 3:00 – 7:00 pm.
