SWEET, Eileen T. (McGreevy) of E. Sandwich, died peacefully on August 8, 2015. Born in So. Dartmouth to Thomas E. and Agnes (Regan) McGreevy. Mother of Christine Sweet, Dana Sweet, Charles (Nancy) Sweet, and Eric (Carine) Sweet. Also survived by grandchildren Robert Hoffman, Gina Hoffman, Alan Sweet, Grace Sweet, and Amy Sweet. Preceded in death by husband Carlton D. Sweet, daughter Merilyn Sweet, sister Mary Cardin and brothers Thomas E. McGreevy and William McGreevy. Eileen raised her family in Lexington and was receptionist at the Lexington Minuteman in the mid-1970s. She later became a Registered Nurse, earning her degree from Middlesex Community College, and was employed at Waltham Hospital. Calling hours will be held Saturday, November 7 at Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., Lexington from 12:00 Noon to 2:00PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
