Chi, Elayne formerly of Waltham entered into Paradise through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 19, 2021.  People who loved and cared for her spoke to her via the hospital phone, visited her, and prayed for her for months.

Elayne cared very deeply about her friends and family. People who are fortunate to know her, have received holiday cards in the mail. Elayne got gifts for people's birthdays and Christmas. The children of friends adored her generosity and affectionately regarded as their beloved aunt.

Elayne leaves behind, a doting husband, William of 21 years of marriage. Friends and family that go back since her childhood with cousins, making life long friends at college, and making new friendships later in life. Elayne looked forward to attending family social events, whether that be someone's anniversary or graduation party or a cookout in Cape Cod or a 4th of July party.  Her absence in all of our lives will certainly be noticed. Life was good when Elayne was amongst us. She will badly be missed.  However, through Christ, there will be a happy reunion with Elayne in the Kingdom of Heaven someday.

There will be a Wake for Elayne on July 25, 2021 at the DOUGLASS FUNERAL HOME, 51 Worthen Road, Lexington, MA 0242. The hours for this are from 2pm to 5pm.

A Graveside Service will be held Monday  July 26th at Westview Cemetery, 520 Bedford St. Lexington at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
