LINTNER, Eleanor J. (Kelley) Of Lexington, passed away in her sleep on July 5, 2014. Her late husband was John V. Lintner, Jr., a professor of economics at Harvard. She is survived by three children: John H. Lintner, Nancy C. Molvig and Allan S. Hodges. She has been blessed with 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She served in the Coast Guard during WWII and subsequently joined the foreign diplomatic corps. For the past 14 years she shared her knowledge and passion for opera by teaching at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute through Tufts University. A Memorial Service will be held July 26 at 2pm at Brookhaven, 1010 Waltham Street, Lexington MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eleanor's name may be sent to Angell Memorial, 350 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
