LOWE, Eleanor P. "Nuna" Of Arlington, MA, born and raised in Portland, ME, died Dec. 17, 2012. Daughter of the late Edward B. Lowe and Almeda I. (Freeman). Mother of Shirley I. Torto and her husband Leonard of Lynn, MA. Sister of Carolan J. Mailman and her husband Richard of Orlando, FL. Eleanor is also survived by 2 granddaughters, and by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Music Teacher in the Lexington Public School System; Served as National President of the Ladies Grand Army of the Republic, and was a member of several other Patriotic and Professional Organizations. A funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 21 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON, MA at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
