Cann, Elinor Hubley, passed away quietly on February 11, 2012, at Carleton Willard Village in Bedford, after a short illness. She was the daughter of Fredric and Evelyn Hubley. She is survived by Robert Cann, her husband of 70 years, 2 children, Judith Elwell of Lancaster, MA, and Robert Jr. of Allenstown, NH, 5 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren. She was a lifelong resident of Lexington, charter member of the Lexington Order of Rainbow for Girls, active in the Unitarian/First Parish Church, Crittenden League and director of Lend-a-Hand, active in the Lexington Historical Society, and board member of Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. A Memorial Service will be held Monday February 20 at Carleton Willard Village, 100 Old Billerica Rd. Bedford at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the First Parish Church, 7 Harrington Rd. Lexington, MA 02421. Private interment Shawsheen Cemetery, Bedford.
