McSweeney-Lavins, Elizabeth R. (Liz to her family and friends), of Lexington, June 22, 2022.  Preceded in death by her husband Bernard Joseph Lavins (Joe or B.J.).  Liz is survived by her daughter, Nora Catherine Lavins. Daughter of Joan Hayes McSweeney of Westlake Ohio.  Sister of Stephen (Debby) McSweeney of Landenberg, Pennsylvania; Michael McSweeney of North Ridgeville, Ohio; Celeste Mathias-Kane of North Ridgeville, Ohio; Marci McSweeney Danku (Bob) of Ontario, Canada.  Liz is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She graduated from the University of Delaware and was 61 years old. She will be fondly remembered for her strength, love of her family and pets, and her sense of humor. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29 at 10:00am at Saint Brigid Church, Lexington and a Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
