Zahalka, Elizabeth B. (Klotz) of Concord, MA, formerly of Wayland, MA, New Canaan, CT, and Timonium, MD, on August 16, 2023, age 100 years. Beloved wife of the late Leland B. Zahalka. Devoted sister of Mary Jane Taverna of Lexington, Joan Plitt of New Holland, PA, and the late William O. Klotz Jr. Aunt of David Taverna, Susan Taverna McLaughlin, Jeffrey Plitt, Jill Earnest, Michael Klotz, Theresa Ringer, and the late William Klotz. She is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth graduated Glen Burnie High School in Maryland at the age of 16, attended The Eaton Burnett Business College and went on to become the only female Co-Owner of Allied Research, a metal plating company. She was loved deeply by her family, known for her quick wit and great sense of humor, and a warm touch. She took pleasure in knowing everyone's name that she came in contact with and was interested in learning about their life. She enjoyed gardening and cooking and was a devoted New England Patriots fan.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday August 29 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington at 11am. Visitation immediately prior to the service from 10am to 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Donations in her memory may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
