Obituary

Burbidge, Eva M. (Brucchi)

Of Waltham, formerly of South Chatham and Lexington, Eva passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 27. Devoted wife of the late Robert E. She was a loving mother to Robert Burbidge and his wife Jean of Lexington and Richard Burbidge and his wife Sharon of Plymouth, a cherished grandmother to Christy Burbidge and her wife Cristina Azzinaro of Lakeville, Suzanne Coakley and her husband John of Lexington, Johanna Kuleszka and her husband James of Reading, Caitlin Burbidge of Somerville, James Burbidge of Holyoke, Hannah Burbidge of Oak Bluffs and a beloved great-grandmother to Elise, Sarah and Liam Coakley of Lexington and Claire Kuleszka of Reading. She will be remembered for her love of family, a wonderful sense of humor, generosity, kindness and her unwavering devotion to her husband of 52 years. And for many of her sons' friends she will be remembered as a second mother, whose door was always open where she stood with a ready smile, a hot meal and unconditional support.
