TAYLOR, Eva Lorraine (Mercer) Of Lexington, after a brief illness. Born in Cambridge, MA in 1933 to Charles and Fannie Mercer, she was a 1951 graduate of Cambridge High and Latin School and later secretary to the president of Rogers' Jewelers and at Neilson Associates. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles H. Taylor Jr., and her son and daughter-in-law, Charles III and Stephanie Zacharek of Jersey City, New Jersey. She is also survived by two sisters, Vera Hodder of St. John's, Newfoundland and Florence Evans of Billerica, MA; a brother, Charles Mercer of Sunapee, NH; sisters-in-law Ellen Mercer, Janet Mercer, June Putnam, and Marie Taylor; brothers-in-law Morley Hodder, Richard Taylor and Frank Putnam; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, Dec. 9 at Trinity Covenant Church in Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
