WORTMAN, Frances L. (Tompkins) Of Lexington, April 1, 2014, age 103. Wife of the late Henry L. Wortman. Mother of Carolyn L. Wortman of Lexington and the late David L. Wortman. She is also survived by a grandson, Andrew D. Wortman of North Scituate, RI. Frances was a longtime volunteer at Lexington Food Pantry, receiving the Minuteman Cane Award in 1996. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 7 at the Church of Our Redeemer, 6 Meriam St., Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Lexington Food Pantry, P.O.
