Fran is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Sheridan, Deanna, Jeffrey, Douglas, Gregory, and Jillian. WWII U. S. Army Air Corps Veteran; Harvard University Graduate, Class of 1949; Journalist for the Boston Globe for over 50 years; Member of the National Hockey League Hall of Fame. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Monday January 9 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at Saint Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am.
