Wagner, Gail R. (Rutecki)

Gail R. Wagner of Lexington died unexpectedly on Saturday May 7, 2011. She was 60.

Wife of the late Michael P. Wagner. Loving mother of Erin and Kelly, both of Boston.
She also leaves her five siblings: Susan (William) Hoehler of Tiburon, CA; Carol (Richard) Schwartz of Fort Wayne, IN; Victor (Marcia) Rutecki of Amherst, NY; Betsy Dolan (Peter) of Groveland, NY; and Michael Rutecki (Maureen) of Pittsford, NY. She also leaves her special friend Henry Gewirtz.

Mrs. Wagner was raised in Buffalo. She graduated from Colgate University, and received a masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Francisco State University. She worked as the Transportation Coordinator for the Town of Lexington for the past 11 years.

Gail had a variety of interests which included gardening, walking, tennis, zumba, reading and travel. She was a truly amazing mother, sister, aunt, and friend, and touched the lives of many.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday May 15, 2011 at 2pm at Pilgrim Church in Lexington. Donations in her honor can be made to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America at 386 Park Avenue South, 17th Floor, New York, NY 10016.
